PROTECT YOUR HOME AGAINST LOCK BUMPING NOW!

If you read our blog article on Lock Bumping, then you know how easy it is for criminals to breach your residence. So what can you do about it?

Firstly, never give your house keys to any valet or attendant when dropping off or parking your car. Many keys have a direct code on the key, which could be copied down and brought to any locksmith shop to copy the key.

Now as for making more difficult for the criminals to gain access to your home–get a high security type lock that utilizes a secondary locking device called a sidebar, which cannot be bumped open. Many locks of this nature have restricted type keys so that the individual seeking to copy a particular key will need identification.

Additionally, get proper defensive training in the event that your house is breached while you and or family members are at home. This could be a disastrous situation for the homeowners as in the case of a home invasion. The correct defensive training could mean the difference between life and death for you and your family members.
